Dua lipa is an English musician and singer born August 22, 1995, in London United Kingdom. In 2014, after working as a model and actress she was signed to Warner Bros Records. She launched her self-titled debut album in 2017. This album reached number 3 in the U.K. Charts and released 8 singles. These included Be The One I.D.G.A.F The U.K. number one single New Rules as well as the U.K. No. 1 track New Rules. Lipa was awarded the Brit Awards in 2018 for British Female Solo Artist, and British Breakthrough Act, and her album has been certified as platinum in several countries worldwide. Dua Lipa was born London on 22 August 1995 to Kosovo Albanian parents Anesa Rexha and Dukagjin Lipa. Her maternal grandmother is the reason she is of Bosnian origin.
